I'm a filmmaker from Singapore based in New York. I'm interested in portraying uncharted, often humorous, stories of migrants, minorities and misfits. I find that it's in these margins, where things get juicy, messy and most revealing. My short films have screened in festivals in the USA, France, Canada and the UK.
I've also edited feature films, documentaries, award-winning shorts and digital content. I recently edited the feature documentary 'Ask The Sexpert' (Amazon Prime, PBS), which has screened at more than 40 festivals worldwide. Other credits include editing and producing 'Gonzo @ The Derby', an ESPN '30 for 30' doc which premiered at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival.
I have a First Class Honours degree in History from Oxford University and an MFA in Filmmaking from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where I also teach editing.
